1. Summary

Market Reality and Opportunities

Challenges

Current IoT ecosystems suffer from "fragmented apps," "complex configurations," and "invisible risks," causing general users to experience stress rather than convenience. While the smart home market continues to grow, actual adoption rates remain paradoxically low.

Insights

The Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), a decentralized cloud platform with zero transaction fees, tamper-proof architecture, and biometric-based identity, can serve as a foundation to solve these three pain points simultaneously. It offers economic efficiency and security that traditional cloud infrastructure cannot achieve.

Our Challenge

During Wave Hacks' 45-day sprint, we built a UX demo that enables external data retrieval through chat UI alone. Beyond technical validation, we materialized the actual user experience of "operating with words."

Vision

We plan to expand to physical devices, creating new customer experiences in Smart Home / Smart Building / Smart Factory sectors. Our focus is not merely IoT control, but market development centered on "value created through dialogue."

"1 device → 1 million devices" - ICP provides a cloud blockchain foundation where business models remain viable at scale. Traditional cloud services face structural constraints where costs balloon proportionally with device count, deteriorating profitability. ICP's reverse gas model has the potential to fundamentally solve these limitations.
